It seems an impossible task!
On 27 March, 2011 3:04 p.m. I completed 306 km of runs that I started to track since 24 August, 2010. It is achieved over 46 runs, averaging 6.65 km per run.
It is the same for any goal setting in life, be it for business, personal or social. If I set out to achieve 306 km in one run, probably I will give up even before I begin.
You cannot manage what you cannot measure; it is true for everything you do. To achieve a big goal, you need to break it into many small goals like I had experienced in running.
Today technology is so common and prevalent, that you can use it to track the progress with ease. With the use of technology, I know since 24 August, 2010 to 27 March, 2011, I achieved
Total workouts: 46
Total duration: 1d:14h:52m
Total distance: 306.34 km
* Trips around the world: 0.008
* Trips to the Moon: 0.001
Average speed: 7.88 km/h
Average pace: 7m:36s
Calories burned: 29996 kcal
* Burgers burned: 55

The statistic becomes an interesting fact to motivate me to set and reach for my next goal; I know that I am closer to complete my trip to the moon than the trip around the world. I know that every run I exercise, I am 0.999 trip closer to the moon.
Can I make the trip to moon? Yes, I can, as long as I continue and preserve with discipline and enjoy every single run.
“The journey of thousand miles begins with the first step.”
You can definitely join me to make your trip to the moon! Set your goal today, and enjoy every single minutes of your journey.
